Ad set summary page in Campaign Manager

With each of your LinkedIn ad sets, you have access to comprehensive insights of the top performance indicators with your ad set summary page.

On your summary page, you can view:  

  • An overview of your ad set, including objective, budget, schedule, and optimization goal.  
  • Your ad set’s performance chart, where you can switch between performance indicators such as spend, key results, cost per key result, impressions, and clicks.  
  • The top audiences for your ad set by industry, job title, company, or location.  
  • Ad creatives in the ad set.

To get to your summary page, go to the Advertise page in Campaign Manager and select the Ad set tab. Hover over your ad set and select View summary.

Ad set Overview

In the Overview section, you can view basic ad set information to ensure that your choices align with your ad set goals. You can see the:

Performance

In the Performance section, you can view a graph of your ad set’s performance based on Key Results, Impressions, Clicks, Cost Per Key Result, or Spend.

  • To view the different performance indicators, click each metric at the top of the graph.
  • To view a more detailed Performance Chart, click View more.

Benchmarks

When you choose Cost per Key Result, you can also access performance benchmarks. Select the Benchmark dropdown menu and choose from:  

  • Industry - Compares your ad sets against similar ad sets from industry peers from the last 90 days.  
  • Self - Compares against similar ad sets from your account from the last 90 days.

Top Audiences

In the Top Audiences section, you can review metrics to better understand the audience engaging with your ads. You have the option to filter by:

  • Industry
  • Job title
  • Company
  • Location

To view your Professional Demographics in more detail, click View more in the upper-right corner of the section.

Top Creatives

In the Top Creatives section, review the performance for the ads in the ad set. You can quickly see Impressions, the Click-Through Rate (CTR) and Key Results. To see a list of all the ads in the ad set, click View all in the upper-right corner of the section.
