This feature is part of LinkedIn job posts, and you will see the ability to use AI to create a suggested job description after you start your job post if the feature is available in your region.

This feature is currently available for a subset of LinkedIn members using LinkedIn job posts in US, India, UK, Canada, and Australia, and is not currently available for enterprise customers.

The use of this feature is optional. You are still able to use your own job description when posting a job on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn will be leveraging data and skills insights from our platform as inputs to create draft job descriptions using AI. The inputs used are job title, job location, company, workplace type, and job type that are provided to us when you start your job post. 

The AI-assisted job description will be based on the inputs that you provide when you initiate your job post. We also run all AI-created content through our existing content filters. While we have taken safety precautions, this feature may produce surprises or mistakes. If you use the AI-assisted job description feature on LinkedIn, you will still need to review the job description for accuracy and make any necessary edits. As the job poster, you're still responsible for the final job description that is posted to LinkedIn, and you may be required by applicable law to add additional information, such as a salary range, other pay or benefits information, an applicant privacy notice, or other information.

We include prompts to specify that gender neutral language is used in the output. LinkedIn also runs all AI-created content through our existing content filters. While we have taken safety precautions, this feature may produce surprises or mistakes. Members that use the AI-assisted job description feature on LinkedIn will still need to review the job description for accuracy and make any necessary edits.

Using AI-assisted job descriptions does not mean the draft job description will be better for your role than if you write your own. We hope to help hiring managers save time writing and editing their job descriptions and use a skills-based approach to help draft a job description for you. While we try to ensure quality, mistakes can sometimes happen and job descriptions will not contain all required information. You’ll still need to review the job description to make sure it is right for your role and make any edits before posting.

AI-assisted job descriptions make it easier for hiring managers to create high-quality job descriptions quickly. Using this feature helps you spend less time creating your job description from scratch and more time on other aspects of hiring.

AI-assisted job descriptions are available for all job titles that can be found in the job title drop-down when you create your job on LinkedIn.
