Research Network surveys

Last updated: 2 years ago

LinkedIn occasionally invites our members to participate in surveys, and each survey targets a different type of person. Some surveys simply target a random selection of LinkedIn members. Other surveys target people whose LinkedIn profiles contain specific information, like work experience in a particular industry.

  • Participation is 100% voluntary and no personal information is revealed. The surveys we conduct also adhere to LinkedIn's privacy policy.
  • At the beginning of a survey we sometimes ask some screening questions to determine if the survey meets the surveyor's criteria. If the survey isn't relevant, we terminate the survey so that we don't waste your time. If you see a survey on LinkedIn.com or the LinkedIn app, you can close it if you prefer not to participate.
  • If there’s a deadline for completing a survey, it’s usually included in the invitation email or shown on the screen. If your email invitation doesn't specify the deadline, click the survey link in the email and a notification message will inform you if the survey has been closed.
  • If a survey is available in one or more languages other than English, the first page of the survey will give you the option to select the language you prefer.
  • If your business is interested in conducting research and your organization is currently a LinkedIn client, please ask your LinkedIn representative for more information.
