Many organizations use LinkedIn Learning in combination with an external Learning Management System that helps to manage learning data.
If your Learning license is provided by your organization, and your organization leverages a Learning Management System, after you’ve marked your content complete you may notice the content move into a Waiting on completion confirmation state. This state is due to a separate Learning Management System verification process, which confirms you have completed the content.
A delay in verification is normal, and it can take up to 48 hours for the completion data to sync between the Learning Management System and LinkedIn Learning.
Here's a tip
If the content is assigned, marking it as complete will remove the content from your assignment queue in LinkedIn Learning.
