Access and use social recommendations

Last updated: 3 years ago
LinkedIn Learning is an online educational platform that helps you discover and develop business, technology-related, and creative skills through expert-led course videos. Social recommendations on LinkedIn Learning help learners:
  • Understand what kind of Learning content is being consumed by their connections, co-workers, or professionals with similar job titles.
  • Evaluate if there are skills that their professional network is focusing on, that they might have missed themselves.
To view social recommendations on LinkedIn Learning:
  1. Log in to LinkedIn Learning.

  2. In the Recommended for you and Top liked by your connections sections of your homepage, you’ll see the number of likes on the videos from people in your organization/professional network.
  3. Click the [] like this below the course title to view a complete list of likes on a particular video/course.
Notes:
  • You might receive social recommendations for courses unrelated to the skills you’ve specified on Learning, if those are the kind of courses people in your larger professional network are liking on LinkedIn.
  • You’ll also be able to view the likes on a video/course on your LinkedIn feed, if people from your network have liked the Learning course. (See Related task below.)
