  • We teamed up with Oscilar to kick off Day 2 of #NYFTW with great coffee, New York-style bagels, and even better company. Lawyers, fintechs, banks, and investors all in one room. The conversations were candid, cross-sector, and exactly what this week is all about. Grateful for everyone who joined us. Now on to golf and dinner to round out the rest of the week. #NYFintechWeek #FinancialServices  #FSVector Ethan Singleton Jasper Sneff Nanni Guy Huber Gretchen Keller Seth S. Felix Santiago

  • A strong start to our week at #NYFTW 2026. Last night, we hosted From Charter Approval to Operation, a conversation about what actually happens after conditional approval. The theme that kept surfacing: the stretch from approval to opening day is as much a relationship challenge as an operational one. Regulators aren't just checking boxes. They're forming a view of your institution's judgment, culture, and self-awareness, and that view starts forming long before the pre-opening exam. Thank you to Jasper Sneff Nanni (FS Vector), Joseph J. Chambers (State of Connecticut, Department of Banking ), and Max Bonici (Davis Wright Tremaine LLP) for a candid and specific discussion. The room was full of founders, practitioners, and advisors, and it showed in the questions. More to come this week. Stay tuned.

  • Consensus 2026 Miami | May 5-7, 2026 The FS Vector team will be there across our advisory and government relations practices, and we're looking forward to the conversations. Companies in the digital asset space are dealing with a lot right now. Product and compliance questions, licensing, figuring out how to engage Washington as the GENIUS Act and market structure legislation take shape. These aren't siloed issues and we work across all of them. If you're at Consensus and want to connect, drop a comment or send us a DM. #ConsensusMiami #Crypto #Web3 #DigitalAssets #CryptoPolicy #Fintech #GovernmentRelations

Hello, I'm in Delaware...... Last Friday, I had the privilege of taking a short trip down from NYC to visit the University of Delaware's Fintech Innovation Hub for the "Delaware Fintech Innovation Forum". The nostalgia hit harder than expected - born and raised in Delaware, and a University of Delaware alum twice over, this one felt like a homecoming. A few observations from my time at the event: ➖ Bank-fintech relationships are maturing, but compliance remains the linchpin. Across nearly every session, from the future of banking panel to the fintech partnership discussion, one theme was consistent: sustainable fintech products growth are built on rigorous compliance and risk frameworks from day one. This is one of the core reasons why Coalition for Financial Ecosystem Standards has built an independent set of standards that help both banks and fintechs execute on this idea. ➖ Regulation is evolving, and the window to get ahead of it is now. With perspectives from the Federal Reserve, Delaware's State Bank Commissioner, and senior policy leaders from the American Fintech Council and Financial Technology Association, it was clear that regulators are engaged and paying attention. The fintechs and financial institutions that will win are those building proactively, not reactively. ➖ Digital assets are no longer a fringe conversation. Real-world asset tokenization, stablecoins, and crypto-native banking drew some of the most substantive dialogue of the day, with serious institutional voices (Citi, DTCC, Vanguard) at the table. That said, it still feels to me that we just scratching the surface.... ➖ AI in financial services is moving from hype to implementation. The 'AI Financial Copilot' session made clear that the question is no longer "if" but "how" and "how to" responsibly. The firms thinking carefully about AI implementation and their own model governance practices now will have a significant advantage. At FS Vector, this is exactly the intersection we live in every day, helping fintechs, financial institutions and digital asset companies navigate partnerships, compliance, and regulatory strategy as this landscape evolves. Always great to be in rooms where the conversation is this substantive (especially when the room is at your alma mater)! Wow, talk about a full circle moment. I first joined Women in Housing and Finance, Inc. in undergrad at Howard University. It was during the height of the Financial Crisis, and I was serving as a full-time intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, eager to learn and find my place in the world of regulatory policy post Dodd-Frank. Yesterday, I had the privilege of returning to WHF, not as a student, but as a moderator to facilitate a discussion with Chiefs of Staff from three of our federal banking agencies. Dana Wade, Kate Tyrrell, & Sarah Canepa Bang, thank you for your wonderful insights, advice, and providing a peak into your day-to-day shaping and modernizing our federal banking system. And thanks to Catherine Galicia, Sam Ozeck, and the WHF Board for inviting me to participate.

  • Martin Falle will be at the ACA Group Conference in Nashville, April 15-17. State licensing is one of the most overlooked gaps in compliance programs and one of the most costly to fix after the fact. FS Vector works with fintechs, lenders, payments platforms, and digital asset firms to get their licensing posture right across all 50 states and keep it that way through APPROVED, our platform for tracking applications, renewals, and examination readiness. If you are scaling into new states, launching a new product line, or unsure whether your current licensing position would hold up under examination, that is the conversation Martin is there to have. Reach out to him directly or comment below to set something up. See you there!
