NEWS: Dr. Jonathan M. Green has been selected as the chief executive officer of the NIH Clinical Center, the nation’s largest hospital devoted to clinical research. As CEO, Dr. Green will oversee the Clinical Center’s nearly $700 million annual operating budget and the day-to-day operations and management of the 200-bed, 870,000-square-foot research center on NIH’s Bethesda, MD campus. Dr. Green joined NIH in 2018 as director of the NIH Office of Human Subjects Research Protections. Prior to that, he was a professor of medicine, pathology, and immunology as well as the Associate Dean for Human Studies at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
