What if your AI agent already knew everything your team discussed? That's the promise of building in Slack. New platform capabilities announced today make it easier than ever to deploy agents that work where your team collaborates — not in a separate tab. 🔹 Orchestrate work with the Slackbot MCP Client 🔹 Deploy custom agents from partners like, Vercel & Lovable, in a few clicks 🔹 Manage a unified agent browser with AgentExchange 🔹 Build rich agent experiences with Block Kit The tools are here. The only question is what you'll build. 🔗 https://sforce.co/4t7Lqb7

HEY DIVAS!! 🐸✨ The bun is on site. YES -- Adam Noble and I are keeping it reel 🎣 at Salesforce TDX this week, on site for Dev Interrupted. Lemme give you the scoop on the keynote, because the thing to notice is *how* they're wiring it and the bets they're making on how this all evolves *with* us. For one: Agentforce has gone headless. It's a toolkit for building bespoke agents that loop in your Salesforce data without requiring you to live inside Salesforce's UI. You can bring it to Claude Code (in fact, most the demos today do!) or even Cursor. This headless-first mentality makes everyone a builder, from tenured engineers to my low-code pals. We caught a great live demo from Dan Fernandez, a past guest and friend of the show. The design pattern is genuinely interesting: half-probabilistic (LLMs), half-deterministic execution (Agentscript), with observability layered on top so you can actually measure what your agents are doing at scale. Because I'll remind you: if you don't have o11y on your agents, you don't have agents. You have an expensive cron job. But the thing I can't stop thinking about is Slack. When I interviewed Kurtis Kemple for the show at the end of last year, he opened my eyes to the power of building and delivering agents on the messaging tool. Since then, I've built and deployed 6 agents on Slack to my own team at LinearB. Well, Slackbot got a full rebuild since October (see https://lnkd.in/g7KiD4rU ) and the bet is clear: push agents into the conversational layer where your business actually happens. Not a separate dashboard. Not a chatbot tab. Inside the thread where your team is already making decisions. And they use emergent specs like MCP Apps/MCP-UI/Apps SDK (yeah, lots of names) from Agentic AI Foundation to not only converse, but to *show* and let the user *interact* via bespoke components. It's like React in your chat, and it's the future btw: https://lnkd.in/g-HjBQX4 This is powerful because Slack is where nuance lives. It's where someone says "wait, that doesn't match what the customer told me yesterday", the kind of signal that no RAG pipeline will surface on its own. Making agents first-class citizens in that world means they're not just answering questions, they're participating in discovery. I gave a talk in 2024 about what "multiplayer AI" would actually look like inside orgs. The dangers, the nuances, but most importantly: the next-level unlock it would mean for agents to be true collaborators where the work happens: https://lnkd.in/geCrtT2V Two years later, Slack is building it. Slay. 💅

  • 🎬 Slack School | Slackbot for Case Management bit.ly/4tTcDOR Closing a case is satisfying. Hunting down the info you need to do it? Not so much. Mike Reynolds shows us how Slackbot can assist. From surfacing insights from past cases to documenting new ones directly in your Salesforce channel, Slackbot helps you stay focused on what matters most: the person you’re helping. If you work in support, this one’s for you. Class dismissed! 🔔 📚 Absent from class? Watch all Slack School episodes here: sforce.co/4ktLPkx
