📢 Cities around the world are under growing pressure from climate change, rapid urbanisation, and infrastructure demands. Flooding, heat stress, and complex planning decisions are now everyday challenges for urban agencies and municipalities. ⭐We are pleased to welcome Guillermo Corral Comeras to our upcoming discussion on how cities are responding through digital transformation. Guillermo is an Urban Design Lead at MCORM Architecture and Urban Design, working on masterplans and urban regeneration projects across Ireland. He also contributes to EU-funded urban development initiatives in Spain and lectures in Smart City Management at ZIGURAT Institute of Technology (Universitat de Barcelona partnership), reflecting his strong link between practice, research, and digital innovation in cities. 🤖Together, we will explore how cities are using digital twins, smart city approaches, and #AI to strengthen climate resilience, improve planning, and support better decision-making. 📅 Join us live: https://lnkd.in/dwbWFmz5 #DigitalTwin #SmartCities #UrbanPlanning #ClimateResilience #UrbanDesign #GIS #Infrastructure Follow us on LinkedIn.

Cities lose billions of gallons of water daily, and reactive "break-fix" repairs cost up to 50 times more than planned maintenance. This isn't just inefficient; it's a critical risk to public trust and regulatory compliance. 💧The challenges for water utilities mirror those of our cities: fragmented data and a costly cycle of emergency response. 💡As this article explores, a digital twin offers a solution. By creating a unified, real-time view of water networks, cities can shift from reactive to proactive, enabling leaders to: - Simulate "what-if" scenarios to mitigate risks. - Predict failures to optimize maintenance. - Invest capital with data-driven confidence. This is the future of urban resilience: building smarter, more sustainable cities ready for the challenges of tomorrow. ➡️Read the article to see how a proactive digital strategy can transform utilities and cities alike. 🔗https://lnkd.in/gZE8n8Wj #DigitalTwins #SmartCities #WaterUtilities #UrbanInfrastructure #InfrastructureInnovation #OperationalEfficiency #ResilientCities #DataDriven #InfrastructureDigitalization Richard J. A big thank you to the Minister for Cities and Housing, Vincent Jeanbrun, for visiting our booth at Digital Twin BIM World Paris recently. Bentley had the opportunity to present the digital twin of the city of Pau, Capitale Humaine developed in collaboration with the Communauté d’Agglomération Pau Béarn Pyrénées. As part of an urban renewal program, this digital city model makes it possible to simulate, analyze, and visualize complex projects in an immersive way, particularly in the Saragosse district. It facilitates the harmonization of materials, the integration of urban developments, and a better understanding of projects by citizens. Digital twins are essential tools for achieving France’s objectives in decarbonization, resilience, and spatial planning. They enable improved management, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure throughout its entire lifecycle. France would benefit from further integrating digital solutions for infrastructure into public procurement, following the example set by several European neighbors in recent years. Bentley warmly thanks the Minister for his curiosity and interest in our activities. It is a source of pride for Bentley Systems to support French cities in their digital transition. 👉 Read our blog post with video insights: https://lnkd.in/gXy2VGwe 🎥 Watch the video to see the digital model in action: https://lnkd.in/ehgjYg3y #DigitalTwin #SmartCities #UrbanPlanning #SustainableCities #Decarbonization #InfrastructureInnovation #BIM #DigitalTransition #PublicInfrastructure #France #Territories #CityOfPau #BentleySystems Vincent Jeanbrun Francois Valois Sébastien Heuzé Mark Coates FCIHT, FCInstCES Richard J.
