- [Instructor] Migration service makes it easier to migrate servers to a newer version of Windows. It provides a graphical tool that inventories data on servers and then transfers the data and configuration to newer servers all without apps or users having to change anything. In this example, we're going to use server one and file server one. Server one is a Windows server 2019 that you see here in the list and file server one is a 2016 Windows server. We're using host one as our proxy server so let's click on host one and then we're going to install the storage migration utility. Scroll down, go to storage migration service and we'll click on install. This is all being done through the Windows Admin Center which was installed and set up in a previous video.
