- [Instructor] Just like Windows 10, Windows 11 periodically needs to be updated in order to remain healthy. So let's take a look at how Windows Update works in Windows 11. I'm going to go ahead and click on the Start button. I'll go to Settings. And one of the things that's brand new in Windows 11 is that we have the status indicator just to the left of my mouse pointer where we can see that Windows Update currently needs attention. So let's take a look at what's going on. I'll go ahead and click on Windows Update. And as we can see, we have a couple of updates that have already been applied, and those updates are awaiting a restart. So let's go ahead and restart this PC, and then we'll check to see if any additional updates are available. I'll go ahead and click on Restart Now.
