- [Instructor] Windows Update is an essential tool for keeping the Windows operating system healthy, and as you might expect, Microsoft allows you to gain a high degree of control over the way that Windows Update works, so I want to show you some of the Windows Update related settings that are available in Windows 11. To access those settings, I'm going to click on the Start button, and then from there, I'm going to go to Settings, and then I'm going to click on Windows Update. And as you can see, we have the basics right here, we have a button that we can click to Check for updates, there's also an option to Pause updates, and we can even view our Update history. Now, most of the settings that you might be interested in are under Advanced options, so I'm going to go ahead and click on Advanced options right now.
