Applying security settings by using Group Policy
- [Instructor] In this section, we're going to look at applying some security settings in Windows 10 by using group policy. And the goal of many of these settings will be to make our computer more secure. So off the start menu, I'll type in group policy, and I'll select the edit group policy control panel. In here on the navigation tree to the left I'm looking under computer configuration under window settings, under security settings, and under local policies, I'll click on user rights assignments and the right half of the interface, we'll see several policies listed and which groups have access to these policies. And because this is the user rights section, most of these policies are related to users having permission to do certain things on the computer. For example, allow log on locally is currently set to have several groups in it. One of them being the guest group, and I really don't want guests logging into my…
