- [Instructor] You learned about Windows Defender Firewall in a previous movie, as well as the advanced options. Now let's look at the newest options in Windows 10, Windows Security. Let's search for Windows Security from the task bar and open it. Click Home. Notice if anything has a yellow exclamation point on it or if anything is red. If you see something like this, click the items to see how to resolve it. All of mine are green, so I'm in good shape here. Now, click Virus & threat protection. Verify that there are no current threats and that updates are configured properly. There are none here, and I have No action needed listed below. Continue to work through the tabs, and when you get to Firewall & network protection, note that you can manage your firewall from here as you could with other areas of Windows as we discussed earlier.
