An introduction to lighting with V-Ray
- [Instructor] We have already noted in chapter one of the course that when working with V-Ray inside of Unreal, there are two basic workflow approaches that we can think about using. These being to either produce offline renders in V-Ray, just as we would in, say, 3DS Max and Houdini, or create real time presentations that the user can then either walk or fly around so as to be able to look at the scene, from any camera angle that they like. In fact we also noted that one of the brilliant things about using V-Ray in Unreal is that we can actually mix or make use of both of these approaches inside a single project, if that is what we want or need. And indeed, we can actually do much the same with regard to the subject of this chapter, which is Lighting in Unreal with V-Ray.
