- We've been handling calls as they come in but now let's take a look at kicking one off ourselves. The call API is very similar to the message API, so it should feel pretty familiar. So on twilio.com/docs, I'm going to click on voice. And in here, I'm going to look for the API reference. I'm going to collapse these folders. Here we go. And I was looking for the call resource. And over here, if you look at the library, you'll notice that it's very similar. We got calls and then we got create, and we have a to and a from and a TwiML. TwiML here is what you'd like to have happen when the two numbers are connected. So in this case here, it's going to do response say Ahoy there. Now also on call creation, instead of passing TwiML, you can also pass a URL. So if you open this up, you can see that you can pass a URL. And as long as the URL returns a valid TwiML, you will be able to use that. But we have a URL just like that.…
