Is that really a bargain?

- We've all had that experience where you run across a great deal, but then you have to stop and figure out if it's really the right deal for you. Before you convert your cash into inventory, I think there are some questions that you should ask yourself. The first one is, is it really something that you need? Are you better off buying it or keeping the money in reserve so that you can use it for something else? If you decide that you want to buy it, think about what it's going to take to get it home and store it. In other words, do you have the transportation and the warehousing capacity to store that inventory in your supply chain? If the answer to that is yes, then the next question that you need to ask is how long will it last?
