- [Instructor] As you develop your reports, you'll add a number of different objects to the layout, tables, text boxes, images, charts, and more. In order to make sure everything is lined up, you'll turn to the options in the Align menu. Now, these options only show up if you have two or more objects selected. Let me expand my report's body just a bit by clicking on the gray bar that appears here in the left-hand ruler on the left, and I'll drag it open a little bit to give myself some more room below our table. Then I'll go to the Insert tab of the ribbon and I'll grab a new rectangle object, and I'll come down and just drag out a rectangle. Then I'll go back to the Insert tab and we'll grab one more rectangle, and I'll drag out a smaller one over here to the right. Now, I'll drag a box around both of these rectangles to select both of them at the same time.
