- [Instructor] The chart that I added to the Sales Summary report includes a single data series for the year. I would like to be able to review this year, the selected year, and the same months last year if we have that data present in the database. This will allow us to compare year-over-year performance. Let's make that change by taking our report back into Design view. Now to add additional series to a chart after it's already been placed in the report, you need to find the right place and it's actually kind of hidden. Click on the chart once, then click again, and on the far right hand side of the screen, and it's often off the side of the screen so you'll probably need to scroll over to see it, you'll see a new chart data window opened up. This represents the choices that we made when we added fields to the different areas of the chart. At the top is the Values section and inside of there, we have the Total Sales field for the dataset.
