So it should be clear by now that a big advantage of using Smartsheet is the multitude of ways it lets you view your projects and tasks, giving choices to best interpret and act on the data by viewing it in Grid View, Card View, and so on. Another way to have Smartsheet help you better visualize or focus on important data is through conditional formatting. Conditional formatting can automatically make the key information in your chart more visible based on the rules you set up as the sheet's admin. For example, this sheet we've been working on has a lot of dollar values. Maybe I want to easily see when any total spending in the quarter goes over $10,000. To do this, I can set up a conditional formatting rule. We start by clicking the "Conditional Formatting" button here in the toolbar and I'll click "Add New Rule."
