- [Instructor] It's sometimes helpful to have different new item, edit, and view forms for lists. Maybe you want to show different information at different times or make the forms look different to help users know where they are. Now this is another thing that's relatively easy to do using PowerApps forms, although there are a lot of steps. So I'll use this simple list for an example. I'm collecting sales totals and I've got an item price and a quantity that my users need to enter. I've also got a subtotal, tax, and net total fields which are all calculated values. But if we look at the data in the view field, out of the box, the calculated information does not show. It also doesn't show in edit, and we've still got that dopey attachment field that we don't really need, so we can do better than this. Let's go ahead and start by getting into PowerApps forms.
