- [Phil] I don't know about you, but I've got one big goal with SharePoint, create as useful a site as possible for the users. So I'm always looking for new ways to enhance SharePoint functionality, without making a ton of extra work for myself. JavaScript provides some terrific opportunities to do just that. Hi, my name is Phil Gold. I'm a communications and training professional, who's worked with SharePoint as a user, as a site owner and developer, and as an instructor. JavaScript runs all through SharePoint too, but many people don't realize that. This is due, in part, to the fact that there aren't a lot of good explanations about how JavaScript and SharePoint work together, and what you can do with them. If you're looking to learn how to get more out of SharePoint, and provide better functionality, and a more helpful user experience, I think you've come to the right place. I hope you'll join me as we move forward into the wide world of using JavaScript in SharePoint.
