- Now disabling loopback check is not something to be taken lightly, certainly not in a production environment, but here in my test environment, on a private network, especially when I take everything off of any connection to the outside world, it's going to be something that I'm going to be okay with in a testing and developing environment, as long as everything's been cleared with everyone I'd need to clear it from, which in my case is myself, if you're in an organization, definitely you want to clear all this stuff that you're going to be doing with whoever it is you're supposed to clear it with. I'm going to cancel here and close the browser window. I'm going to go ahead and hit the Windows key. I'm on the SharePoint server and I'm going to type in regedit, and that's gonna bring up the Registry Editor. I'll click yes. I'm gonna expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, I'm going to expand SYSTEM, and I'm gonna expand CurrentControlSet, and I'm gonna expand Control. I'm gonna adjust my window…
