- Well it's time to install SQL server. There's a couple of things I'm gonna need to do to get through this installation process. First thing is I'm logged on to the SP machine and I'm gonna actually shut it down. I'm gonna say Action, Shut Down. And the reason for that is I'm actually gonna need to re-add the external network interface card during this and the SharePoint installation process because after they're all done, they're gonna need to go out and even during the process and get some updates. So I'm gonna have to go ahead and connect that back in. Also, I'm gonna come over to the domain controller and I'm going to click View, Full Screen Mode. I'm gonna go to Active Directory Users and Computers. I'm gonna right click one of the just plain old users like SPBCS, right click and hit Copy. And I'm gonna create account. I'm gonna call this SPSQL Service, and that's gonna be my SQL service account that I'm gonna run the actual SQL services under. So SPSQL Service. And just so I…
