- As you may be aware, there are a vast number of settings that control precisely what we see in each Revit view. This include graphical settings, level of details, scale, facing, shadows and lighting settings just to name a few. It is certainly possible to configure such settings on the fly as they're required but naturally there's a much more efficient way to manage these items. In this movie we'll discuss view templates. I'm in a file called view templates and it's just the continuation of the files that we've been working on and fortunately for us it already has a collection of objects in here. If I zoom in just a little bit, we've got some wall elements already in the file. We’ve got a curtain wall over here. We've got some stairs and railings. We've even got a tree and a desk and a chair.
