Configuring a new project
- [Instructor] In this video, we'll begin configuring our new project with the settings necessary for us moving forward. Now, I have both the imperial and the metric versions of the file open because I want to show you the differences, but you only need to work in one of these files, whichever one matches your preferred unit system. So it's not necessary that you open both of them up. Now what I want you to see is that the main difference between these two files is simply the units settings. So I'm going to start here in the imperial file, and I'm going to go to the manage tab and click on the units button, which is right here, and that will display the project units dialogue. Now the primary unit for this file is under length, and if I click this button next to that, you can see that it's in feet and fractional inches and it's rounding off to the nearest 32nd of an inch.
