Why Figma?
- [Instructor] Figma is currently the gold standard design tool for apps and web design. While this is obvious, the company's positioning of Figma as a collaboration tool is somewhat less obvious. For example, multiple designers can simultaneously work on the same project, and I must tell you, watching the cursors of others move around your screen takes a bit of getting used to. I would like to take a look at a couple of other collaborative tools, FigJam, and Slides. Introduced in 2021, FigJam is a collaborative whiteboard that allows teams to ideate and present concepts. Eventually, sketches, sticky notes or wall drawings need to be transformed into digital formats, move them into FigJam and they become accessible to everyone, including stakeholders and both local and remote teams.
