- How can you improve or fix something when you're not entirely sure how it works? The answer is, you cannot. In the case of processes, when you make tweaks and fixes to it, you can end up impacting other parts of the process that you were not aware of. We've all been there. You fix things for Jimmy and end up causing Dedrea problems downstream. Creating a process map is a lot of work, but it's worth it. They help you visually analyze and address issues that initially may seem insurmountable. They're great to have. I'm going to show you why detailing your processes using process maps, can help you visually analyze and address issues. For this lesson, I've created an exercise file to help you create your own process map. How do you create a process map? I'm glad you asked.
