This instructor appears to be delivering content prepared for her by someone else. This is also a course shoehorned in a Learning Path that has been using the same database and using SQL Server and SSMS.
This is a sudden switch to MySQL and this course is lacking real time SQL and is mostly slides which makes me doubt the instructor and makes the course irrelevant. It's just slides rather than querying.
