- [Woman] In this exercise, we will learn to use a UCS, or a User Coordinate System in AutoCAD. Open the file for chapter 2, using the UCS. First lets look at the UCS icon. The UCS icon is displayed by default at the 000 location in the drawing file. If the location of 000 is not displayed in the current view window, the UCS icon will display the lower left corner of the view window. I can use the UCS icon command to modify the behavior and appearance of this UCS icon. And this command can be found at these locations. So lets key in the UCS icon command. And here you can see the command options available. On will turn on the display of the UCS icon in the current view port. Off will turn off the display of the UCS icon in the current view port.
