In this lesson, we're going to look at the basic components of Power BI. First, we're going to compare and contrast the Power BI service with the Power BI Desktop app, and then we're going to compare and contrast the content you can create with Power BI using dashboards, workspaces and reports. Then we're going to look at the visualization controls in Power BI, which are the various types of charts and graphs that you can use to present data, including pie charts, bar charts, donut charts, scatter plots and so forth. And then finally, we're going to talk about the Power BI security model and how it keeps your data secure while providing it to consumers.
