- [Instructor] Your company might have multiple teams who work with contacts in Dataverse. You might capture information such as their name, email address, and perhaps more sensitive info like birthdate or personal IDs. You wouldn't want just anyone to have access to that kind of information. You're better off just limiting access to sensitive information just to the people who need it. This is where you can use column level security in Dataverse. Column level security can be set up for most custom and system columns. To enable it head over to your Dataverse table and select the column you want to apply it to. In the advanced options, you'll see the option to turn it on. Access to the columns is determined by security profiles, something a system administrator can set up from the Power Platform Admin Center.
