Creating groups
- [Instructor] There are multiple different types of groups we can create in Exchange Server 2019 and we get there by going to recipients at the top left and at the very top, click on groups. If we click on this little dropdown, we see we have three different types, so let's create the first one called a distribution group. Under display name, we'll call this HR, and we'll give it the same for the alias. We'll leave the default organizational unit and then we'll leave the default administrator as the owner. Now let's add members into this group, and we can add in Josh, Kate, Linda, and Tom. Click okay. So what's going to happen here is if anyone emails this HR tech pub dot U.S., they're going to be sending that email to all four of these recipients at the same time. This can be a real time saver, especially for clients or for anybody who needs to reach a group of people with just one email address. Either they choose…
