Interpret compliance scores

When you're using Microsoft Azure, the Defender for Cloud Service can help you interpret compliance by providing a secure score. The Defender for Cloud Secure Score provides a numerical value of security based on how well the current Azure environment and resources are configured as compared against the Azure security benchmark. This compares the best practices of security that are defined in the benchmark with how the resources, for example, a storage account or an app service is configured against that baseline. The Defender for Cloud Service can also be configured with additional compliance policies, like PCI compliance, SOC TSP and several other policies to offer the same configuration measurement. Note that this is an example for Azure, but there are similar scores for Microsoft 365 as well. Let's go over to the Azure portal and take a look at the secure score.
