- [Speaker] With the namesake of this course being Azure Virtual Networking, let's start to look at the Azure Virtual Network Resource. So I mentioned before that we will want to attach our resources to a virtual network and then configure that virtual network with the various security settings that are appropriate for our environment to create a security boundary. And that boundary will be our network. That network will be the perimeter size of where our resources will reside, they will connect to, and all of the configuration options at the boundary level will apply to the virtual network. Now later on in this course, we will connect some resources to virtual networks using things like a network interface on a virtual machine or an endpoint of a resource such as a database or a storage account resource that has an endpoint. Now, we can configure all of these connections using the IP addresses that are assigned to the virtual network. So let's go ahead and create that virtual network…
