Troubleshoot Autopilot deployment
- [Instructor] Autopilot's a pretty reliable service, but occasionally, you'll encounter problems, so it's important to understand how you can troubleshoot the service and know where to look for problems. Network connectivity is clearly vital. It's an internet-based service, so without an internet connection, it's going to fail. A device needs to be assigned a deployment profile. If the device doesn't have a deployment profile or isn't showing one assigned, then you need to investigate why that might be. You'll also need to make sure if a user is experiencing something untoward in the out-of-the-box experience, something they weren't expecting to see, then you might need to look at the details of the profile. Devices are joined to Entra ID as part of the Autopilot process. So it's critical to ensure that Entra ID settings are configured correctly.
