- [Instructor] The Easy button. The mere mention of it conjures images of a wildy successful 21st century marketing gimmick. As with any innovative story, there's an element of truth behind it. At the touch of a big red plastic button, magic is delivered. All you have to do is expend the slightest effort and the button does the rest. In reality of course, there are lots of complex layers coming together to deliver on that promise of value. It's easy to understand that in between the endpoints of an interaction with any complex system there are a lot of parts that are working together to create a a valuable output. Sometimes the parts are interconnected and contained within a single assembly. And sometimes the parts are external to the point where they make up the environment in which the valuable functions are delivered.
