Thematic breaks and horizontal rules
- [Narrator] In Markdown, you can use horizontal rules as a thematic division within text documents. There are three ways of creating these horizontal rules and it's pretty simple. All you have to do is add three copies of different types of characters. You can use hyphens like these three hyphens right here and that creates a line that you can see in most interpreters. Instead of hyphens, you can also use three asterisks and it works in exactly the same way. You can also use three underscores and again, that also displays a line just like three asterisks or three hyphens. The distinction is really figuring out what looks good to you in the regular text document. I happen to think three hyphens work the best for me. So, that's what I normally use. By the way, you can add more dashes if you want to. It doesn't really matter. Some people like to add long series of dashes just to make a really good visual distinction between different parts of the document. But to a renderer or something…
