- [Instructor] Here's what you should know. Since this course is not going to cover the basics, you may want to consider an intro to Kotlin. You could simply read the Kotlin tour on the official website. Just go to kotlinlang.org and click on "Get Started." The official Kotlin tour is short, sweet, and won't ask you to rate it five stars at the end. However, you shouldn't need too much preparation. If you've used a similar language with strong types, like Swift, Kotlin will feel quite familiar. You will also need to know how to install software on your computer and how to use a terminal or command line in your operating system.
