(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Were you able to detect the notification problem? Here's how to do it and we'll use Jira server in this example. First, log in to Jira and go to one of the notification helper locations. I'll use the one in the system admin area. Enter the user, the issue, the event and click the form submission button. There are two problems listed. First, it says the user doesn't receive notifications for this event. Second, it says there's no mail server set up so no users will receive notifications until that's fixed. Click on the default notification scheme link to learn more about the first problem. The issue updated item only sends messages to an issue's watchers, current assignee and reporter, and our test user is none of these.
