- [Instructor] The next framework we will talk about 2 is the Helidon framework. 3 Helidon is an interesting framework 4 and has some great performance for both functional 5 and declarative styles of writing Java services. 6 Let's take a look at Helidon from a baseline perspective. 7 First and foremost, Helidon is an open-source framework 8 for building services using Java. 9 It is designed to support the needs of both Jakarta EE, 10 as well as Reactive-based programmers. 11 It has two distinct offerings. 12 The SE package is designed as a Reactive microframework 13 for building Reactive web services 14 with a very small footprint. 15 The MP package is designed mainly for Jakarta EE developers 16 based on MicroProfile. 17 It has a small footprint, 18 but it's larger than the SE package. 19 Helidon is an Oracle supported product. 20 Let us start with the Helidon MP offering. 21 Helidon MP is a MicroProfile server…
