- [Narrator] As the needs of your database change, Capella can scale in a matter of minutes, rather than hours or days. Please note that all the examples here are in the full access version of Capella and will require purchase beyond the free trial. Also note that as you make scaling changes, your credit costs will change and you probably want to check in with your organization owner before you save those changes. After your cluster has been up and running for a while, you can click into the cluster details and view the metrics for CPU Utilization by Node, which is a common measurement to judge database performance. Let's imagine this CPU usage is too high. What can I do? I can scale in three different ways. I'll click on "Configuration" to see my options. Here I can see that I currently have three nodes, which is the minimum requirement for a production-ready cluster.
