- [Instructor] When you throw a birthday party, you need a plan. You start off with the fundamental, or three key things, such as food, guests, and where to hold the party. Then you would go into detail and figure out specifics, such as the type of food, the number of people, and the final venue. If you use the same analogy here, the fundamentals would be your insider threat program, and the details would be your insider threat program plan. Earlier, we discussed the three primary areas to focus on in your insider threat program. That is initiation, planning, and operations. Now we will look into specific documents that support each area. Your insider threat program plan should include the following at a minimum: first, the scope of the plan.
