Troubleshooting and Resolving Shortcut Errors. Now with shortcuts, we're looking at creating a shortcut to an item external to the item that we're querying from. This means that we don't have to copy or move data to work with it. But what happens when the shortcuts go wrong because they are external to the item? We can check the connection. Now we need to check the connection to ensure that we've got the correct credentials used to access that shortcut. We can do that within Fabric Settings, Manage Connections and Gateways, and this is going to allow us to check the credentials and make sure that the credentials we're using are correct and updated. Now we can look at the shortcut itself. the shortcut has been created we can manage the shortcut. So if we go into the shortcut itself and that's at the schema, that's at the table and at the file level we can select manage shortcuts and what this allows us to do it allows us well to check the shortcut location.
