Monitoring Power BI semantic model refreshes
Monitoring Power BI semantic model refreshes. Now we have various options to monitor Power BI semantic model refreshes. First is Monitoring Hub. Now again we can filter on the item type and filter on semantic models. Now when we click into a Monitoring Hub item for a semantic model refresh, refresh it's going to drill down into some stats and we can see the activities that that semantic model went through to complete its refresh. We can use the workspace item settings and we can look at the refresh history and the status. We go into the semantic model options in the workspace or in the semantic model options itself. We select settings and we can see the refresh history of that We can also see what triggered that semantic model and the rest API. So we can use a get operation and use the data sets refreshes API to get the status of refreshes.
