- [Instructor] Now that we understand common Okta terminology, and everything the dashboard offers, let's create some users. Under the directory section here on the left hand side. Click on the error button and click on people. So let's go ahead and create somebody manually. The way we do that is we click on the add person button here, and Okta will present us with a screen, and ask us for a couple of required information to add a user. So let's go ahead and create a user. So let's create Josh Taylor. And you'll notice here that for the username, and this is the login information required to log into the instance, it must be an email. So let's go ahead and put in Josh's email here. So JoshDrewTaylor@gmail.com and we're done. And you see here it populated from username to the primary email. Now, secondary email is optional, but you will have cases potentially where maybe you have a recovery email for Josh, and that's where you can put that here. And when you save the user, the email…
