Welcome back everyone, now let's talk about managing the various tools and services within Google Workspace, specifically how we can enable and disable different workspace apps for the users. Think of Google Workspace as a toolbox filled with different instruments. And as administrators, we have the control to decide which tools are available to whom. But before that, you would want to know why do we want to enable or disable certain apps in the domain. There are several few good reasons. For example, students don't need Gmail, but they do need Docs and Classroom. Or you want to disable Meet for some groups to limit unsupervised calls. Or you are testing a new app with a pilot group before rolling it out domain-wide. And also if you want to prevent distractions by disabling services like chat for certain users.
