So networking can feel like a black box, but in the cloud, if you don't understand networking, you might have some problems. We aren't going to become network engineers today, but we're going to learn the essentials, VPCs, firewalls, and load balancers. Because at the end of the day, we need to make sure your users can securely access your app. So let's get started by creating a VPC. Okay, so now what we're going to do we're going to go ahead and set up a VPC and a subnet. And ideally, the whole purpose of this is for you to learn how you can do all this from Cloud Shell and basically control your network. You don't have to use the default network anymore, so you'll have full control over it. And let's go ahead and jump into the Cloud Shell prompt here.
