It's optional licensing, but GHAS Scanning definitely can boost you with or without GitHub Copilot to make sure that your dependencies are sorted, that you've got no leaked keys or secrets, that your code vulnerabilities are all fixed. Responsible AI principles gives us, really as DevOps teammates, accountability and awareness of how the model works and what we can do to reduce bias. We have the Public Code Matching controls, and we have the GitHub Copilot, or just the GitHub Trust Center in general to give us first party authoritative security.
