Cloud developer workspaces
- [Instructor] MLOPs and LLMOps has a substantial cloud developer workspace advantage. And you can see this with products like GitHub. So GitHub has the Codespace environment that has the OpenAI codex, which helps you develop code, and that's through the GitHub Copilot ecosystem, including things like GitHub Copilot Chat and also GitHub Actions allows you to do continuous integration, do best practices automatically so that those suggestions are lessened from some of the effects of, let's say hallucinations. Now, if we look at this environment, the other advantages that they're powerful, they're disposable, and they're preloaded. So you don't have to go through non-deterministic workflows to configure CUDA drivers, for example. It's all loaded for you. Now you can see there's other products as well. They're similar like AWS CodeCatalyst or CodeWhisperer. And you can see that these environments are really beginning to emerge in the marketplace because they're useful. And this allows you to have a deep integration with cloud development. The SDK from another cloud provider could get inside of the GitHub code space ecosystem, hookup with other components of the GitHub ecosystem. And you also have the ability to GPU-enabled notebook development with products like Jupyter, as well as GPU editor environments. And you see this through products like GitHub Codespaces. So really, in a nutshell, there's a substantial advantage in the future with products like GitHub Codespaces, Copilot, GitHub Actions because of this cloud developer workspace advantage.
